Manuel Pellegrini says Samir Nasri's injury sustained in the weekend's win over Chelsea is nothing serious.
The French midfielder picked up a muscular injury during the 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge in what was just his second Premier League start since September but Pellegrini suggests the problem is not too severe.
"He played 90 minutes at the weekend and then another 75, maybe it was too much," said the Chilean.
"He was feeling well, it's a small muscle injury, it's not too important, we'll see how many days."
Nasri will miss Tuesday night's clash with Newcastle United at St James' Park.
