Manchester City have snapped up former England international Richard Wright in an effort to bolster their keeping ranks. The 34-year-old, who has turned out for the likes of Arsenal, Ipswich and Southampton in the past, found himself without a club this summer after leaving Preston.
"Former England goalkeeper Richard Wright has joined City," read a statement released by the Blues.
"Wright, a free agent after a brief spell with Preston North End, will act as back-up for Joe Hart and Costel Pantilimon."
