Man City attacker Isaac Buckley-Ricketts: Oxford experience good for me

Manchester City winger Isaac Buckley-Ricketts is happy with his loan at Oxford United.

The midfielder feels his game is developing at Oxford after a spell with FC Twente.

He explained: “In Holland the game is more technical and feels slower, but afterwards you feel the same effect.

“In under 23s football (with City) it's a bit like a chess game.

“Here you can try that, but once somebody comes up to you and shows physicality you have to react, you can't shy away from it.

“It's teaching me different things that I've not come up against.

“In League One the pitches are tighter and the intensity is higher."
