Manchester City attacker Gabriel Jesus was pleased with his performance in their Champions League win over Hoffenheim.

Gabriel didn't get on the scoresheet for the 2-1 win.

But he was happy with his display against Hoffenheim, saying: “Sometimes you have a great performance and you don't score any goals. In my case, I have to score goals.

“However, sometimes it doesn't happen, for different aspects of the game, or because I miss in the final execution, like against Hoffenheim.

“We were a bit unlucky towards the goal. But I think it was one of the best games I have played so far this season."
