Manchester City attacker Kevin de Bruyne says Belgium teammate Eden Hazard deserves his move to Real Madrid.

Hazard's transfer from Chelsea was completed yesterday.

"If you do well and these teams come for you, you have earned the right to play there," De Bruyne said.

"Otherwise these teams would not come after you, so in that respect, I think he has earned his transfer.

"He knows what to do. He has to work for a few more days and then he also has a vacation. Then he has enough time to arrange everything."
