Manchester City and Atletico Madrid are eyeing Hertha Berlin midfielder Lazar Samardzic.

The 18 year-old attacker, reports AS, is attracting interest from across Europe - which includes City and Atletico.

While he's yet to make his first team debut, Samardzic has drawn comparisons with Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez.

Born in Germany, but to Serbian parents, Samardzic is a Germany youth international.

It's claimed he can be prised away from Hertha for less than €1m.
