Man City, Arsenal plan bid for Gladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria

Manchester City are reviving interest on Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.

Tag24 says it's likely that Zakaria, 24, will leave Gladbach this summer, and there are a number of clubs interested in his signing.

He has just one year left on his contract, meaning Gladbach must decide whether to cash in this year or risk losing him for free when his deal expires.

The report says Manchester United, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have all shown interest in the defensive midfielder, and now they have been joined by City as well as Arsenal and Napoli.

It's added that no bids have been made for him just yet, while Gladbach will make another attempt to keep him when he returns from Euro 2020 duty.
