Manchester City have apologised to Chelsea for their end of match wind-up after Sunday's 6-0 thrashing.
Sergio Aguero scored his 11th Premier League hat-trick as Pep Guardiola's men ran riot to move back top of the table.
Immediately after the final whistle, as City players celebrated and Maurizio Sarri made his way down the tunnel - forgetting to shake Pep Guardiola's hand in the process - the 1979 tune was played.
However, the song also happens to be the Londoners' victory song, played at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea wins.
As such, City officials ordered the song be cut short, worried it could be interpreted as the club gloating, reports the Mirror.
