Manchester City have reached a deal with Anderlecht for fullback Sergio Gomez.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported City have found an agreement with Anderlecht for Spain U21 international Gómez.

The left-back scored seven goals and 15 assists in 49 competitive matches last season.

Gomez will move to City after they were outbid by Chelsea for former Brighton defender Marc Cucurella.

Romano reported: "Sergio Gómez to Manchester City, here we go! Verbal agreement reached with Anderlecht. Fee will be more than €10m, closer to €15m - to be signed soon.

"Sergio has good chances to be part of City team - otherwise, he will be loaned out to La Liga side Girona."
