Manchester City are closing in on a left-back capture after they agreed personal terms with Marc Cucurella.

The Brighton full-back is the club's number one target for the position this summer.

While there is still the small matter of agreeing a fee with Brighton, City are in agreement with the 23-year-old on his contract.

According to Football Insider, Cucurella has told Brighton that he wants to leave and that City is his first choice.

Now it is up to the two clubs to find an agreement on a transfer fee.

Brighton want to do their best to hold onto Cucurella for another year, especially after selling Yves Bissouma to Tottenham recently.
