Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling has hinted he's ready to sign with adidas.
The Daily Mail says every top sportswear giant have been pursuing the England forward, who has now surpassed the 30-goal mark for club and country in two consecutive seasons.
Sterling has sported adidas boots during his past three training sessions at the City Football Academy, indicating where his commercial future could lie in the near future.
A bidding war has seen Sterling field offers of a guaranteed seven-figure annual salary to become the face of various global firms, including Puma and New Balance. Nike – who still want to retain the player – have a six-month window to match an offer before Sterling moves to a different manufacturer.
The winger could earn upwards of £10million a season should he trigger personal and team clauses built into deals.
