German giants Borussia Dortmund are hoping to secure Manchester City youngster Cole Palmer on a season-long loan.

The England Under-21 star, who can play on the wings or as a no.10, is highly rated by City boss Pep Guardiola.

However, the 20-year-old wants regular game time to make the progression in his game to get a first-team spot at City.

According to The Sun, Dortmund are very keen on Palmer, even if it is only a loan with no option to buy.

The German club has a track record of developing English players, including Jadon Sancho and currently Jude Bellingham.

Palmer is most likely to play a bigger role at City in 2023/2024, when winger Riyad Mahrez may leave.
