Man City ace De Bruyne reveals plans to take coaching badges

Manchester City ace Kevin de Bruyne has revealed he's already planning for a coaching career once he hangs up the boots.

The 28 year-old admits he plans to take his UEFA coaching badges in order to give him the option of entering management.

De Bruyne told HLN: "We recently received a proposal from the Belgian Union to obtain the UEFA A and UEFA B coaching diplomas. This is something I want to do, because we can obtain two diplomas in a short time.

"I'm not playing with the idea of becoming a coach yet, I'm too young for that, but that's the minimum if I want to stay in the football world later.

"Vincent (Kompany) is taking courses in England, I'm going to do it at the Belgian Union (the federation). We were told about the new formula in November. I think classes will start in March, but everyone can take them at their own pace.

"I still have to see how and when I will take them."
