Manchester City ace Kevin de Bruyne says he isn't bothered by the club's renewed attempt to bring Barcelona star Lionel Messi to England.

Messi is off contract in June and yet to discuss new terms with the Catalans.

City chief Omar Berruda has stated they'll be ready to act should Messi intimate he's ready to leave Barca next year.

But De Bruyne says: “The rumours about Lionel Messi? I don't care to be honest.

"If he comes that's a good thing, if he doesn't come there are enough good players at the club that I like to play with, so now is not the time."
