The 28-year-old Belgian midfielder featured in the 3-1 victory over Bournemouth, where he gave a decisive pass to Sergio Agüero. He now has produced 50 assists in 123 Premier League matches.
No player has reached this mark so quickly. Before him, Mesut Özil needed 141 matches to deliver 50 assists while Eric Cantona had to play 143 games.
