Manchester City ace Kevin De Bruyne has clocked the most assists in a single season in his career for the club.

The Belgian was on fire against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, setting up Erling Haaland's goal in a 1-1 draw that saw City progress 4-1 on aggregate.

As they prepare to take on Real Madrid in the semi finals in May, De Bruyne will be key to their chances of success.

Per Opta, he now has 23 assists in all competitions, beating his record of 22 from the 2019-2020 campaign.

The Belgian could still play 13 more games if City go all the way in every competition.

He now has a career total of 259 assists, the same as David Beckham managed in his whole career.
