Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva is backing Porto to win the Portuguese title this season.

Silva still keeps a close eye on the local championship.

He said: "I've seen FC Porto-Sporting, FC Porto have an advantage of eight points over Sporting and five over Benfica, which is a very good advantage, FC Porto are favorites at the moment but the league is not over.

"Benfica has been increasing in form, they did not start the season happily but has been showing a lot of quality, especially at home. I hope that Benfica can win, but FC Porto has been very good and from what I've seen, it is clearly the the strongest team this year."
