Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been offered to Barcelona.

Mundo Deportivo says off contract in June, Aguero's agents have been in touch with Barca's presidential candidates, along with the club's football directors.

And the feedback has been positive.

Barca would see Aguero as a bridging signing this summer ahead of eventually finding a long-term, younger centre-forward addition.

At 32, the Argentine would be offered a short-term deal by Barca as a stop-gap next season.

There is also a belief if Aguero arrives, it will go a long way to convincing good friend Lionel Messi to sign a new contract with the Catalans.
