Man City account for Al-Ain in Abu Dhabi

Manchester City have cruised to a 3-0 win over Al-Ain in a friendly in Abu Dhabi.

The newly-crowned Premier League champions scored three second-half goals to down the UAE side as part of their post-season tour.

Young gun Marcos Lopes opened the scoring when he raced onto a through ball from Samir Nasri before Stevan Jovetic added a second with a composed finish with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Youth team player Jordi Hiwula came off the bench late and got the opportunity to wrap up proceedings when converting from the penalty spot in the final minute of the game.

Al-Ain made 25 substitutions during the match which was held at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.
