Malouda insists no reason for panic at Chelsea

Florent Malouda insists there's no need to panic at Chelsea after their defeat to Everton.

Manchester United moved within a point of the Premier League leaders this week.

Malouda told chelseafc.com: "Really frustrated because we had an opportunity to put more points on the top of the league and we failed so it's a big disappointment, but we are still on top and we have to be aware that we can't lose points if we want to win the league.

"Our strength this year has been to focus on our own performances and when we do we are much better than the other teams, especially when you look at the game yesterday. We lost the game more than Everton won it.

"If we could play at our best level yesterday, then they couldn't win the game, but we gave them the belief they could beat us, and that's what they did."
