Malmo chief opens door to January Ibrahimovic move

Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could make a return to Europe in January.

The Swede can leave LA Galaxy on-loan in January when the MLS season ends - and Malmo FF have been mentioned as a potential destination.

MFF sports director Daniel Andersson said, "We do not comment on this in the newspapers, but it is clear that Zlatan is a name that is superintensive. But if he has received an offer we will not comment in the press.

"The club has been good at keeping in touch all year long. He himself is also very interested in how it goes for the club. We met him when he was playing for PSG and then we had to face him as an opponent as well. There has been good contact from the club side all the way."
