Real Mallorca midfielder Jaume Costa insists the controversy around Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior was overblown.

Vini Jr clashed with Mallorca players and coach Javier Aguirre during Real's win.

But Costa said today: "What is manifested outside many times has nothing to do with what is inside. What happened in that game has happened in billions of games.

"It was magnified by A or by B. There were tackles in which we missed him and I was p***ed off. I talked a lot with him, I told him that a lot of people see us and that we have to be an example, and he told me that it's true.

"Today anyone makes a tweet and it is magnified depending on the person.

"My character on the pitch is to be aggressive. I'm small and if I didn't play my weapons I wouldn't be in the first team. Many rivals have become friends in football. With Raúl García I've had thousands of battles on the pitch but then he is an excellent person and we get along very well."
