Alberto Malesani can feel enthusiasm inside the Bologna squad.

Malesani was drafted in this week, as Franco Colomba was sacked less than 48 hours before the season opener against Inter.

"I found a great squad that works with enthusiasm and a perfect mix between youth and experience," said Malesani.

"The people here work intensely and I hope this attitude is to be considered the norm. The enthusiasm starts from the club right down to the fans.

"In that sense it's very similar to the atmosphere at Fiorentina, where many supporters watch the training sessions and that affection fires you up a little more."
