AC Milan chief Paolo Maldini says they'll be active in the January market.
Maldini admits they're studying the market for more additions.
He said, “If we'll have a chance to strengthen the team in January we'll do it.
"We know we are a competitive team but if there will be an opportunity to sign a player that can allow us to make a step forward we'll try to sign him also because we didn't spend what we could in the previous transfer window."
On Gigio Donnarumma's contract, he added: “Stability allowed us to begin the season as we did. It's wrong not to consider Gigio Donnarumma a cornerstone of this team, he is only 21 but he is one of our leaders and we will do everything we can to make him stay."
