AC Milan director Paolo Maldini has admitted interest in Hellas Verona defender Matteo Lovato.
Lovato has been linked with the Rossonero in the local press.
And before their draw with Verona on Sunday, Maldini said: “He is a very interesting player, he is young and has an important structure.
"Like all young and good players teams pay attention, not only us."
Maldini also revealed new contract talks are planned with Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu during international week.
He added: “Next week will be free of commitments and therefore we will have time to talk about the renewals of Calhanoglu and Donnarumma."
