Former Italy coach Cesare Maldini is delighted with the sudden impact made by Inter Milan starlet Mario Balotelli.

He said: "Balotelli is a demonstration of the trust that young players emerging in our football. We need to do it more. Indeed, I think that young players are a great resource which Italy must aim for in its football."
