Barcelona are moving late to trump AS Roma for Bordeaux winger Malcom.

Bordeaux have announced Malcom is set to join Roma this week - with a fee of €40m being mooted.

However, TMW says Malcom cancelled a flight to Italy yesterday amid claims of Barcelona making contact with the player's camp.

It's suggested Barca bettered Roma's proposal to Bordeaux in the afternoon and everything is now in play.

For his part, Malcom is open to all options after choosing to leave France this summer.
