Malaga winger Dani Pacheco has spoken of his time with Liverpool.
Pacheco was snapped up by Liverpool over 11 years ago from Barcelona's academy.
"I was at an age when I could still freely decide whether I wanted to leave or not and Rafa Benitez and his recruitment team came to me. I thought it was best for me at that time and I left for England," he recalled to AS.
"Anfield is a very special field. There are few environments like that. There are many stadiums with double the capacity, but what is lived there, the respect that there is towards the opponent, towards the players ... It breathes a very nice atmosphere. Pure football."
On returning to Malaga, Pacheco added: "When they called me, I had no doubt. It has been a difficult summer for me on the personal topic with Getafe, but I am where I want to be."
