Malaga defender Luis Hernandez wasn't surprised by Claudio Ranieri's sacking at Leicester City.
Hernandez joined Leicester last summer before quitting in January for Malaga.
On Ranieri, he told AS: "He's a coach with lots of experience, a very learned man who knows a lot of football and made a champion team when it was unthinkable that they could win the Premier League.
"But his dismissal did not surprise me, because the form of the team was worrying.
"In the end, after becoming champions, we all knew we could not compete for the title, but no one expected it would be so low."
