Maitland-Niles pushing for Arsenal exit to keep alive England hopes

Arsenal star Ainsley Maitland-Niles is hoping for a January loan move to improve his chances of going to the European Championships with England.

The 23-year-old has been a key member of the national team under manager Gareth Southgate over the past few months.

But he knows that without regular game time, he may lose his spot to another player.

According to the Mirror, Maitland-Niles will push the club and manager Mikel Arteta for a loan so he can get regular game time.

Wolves were interested in the player in the summer, but Arsenal did not want to let him go.
