Arsenal academy product Ainsley Maitland-Niles faces an uncertain future this summer.
The midfielder, who can also play as a right-back, has struggled during his second half of the season loan at AS Roma.
Despite joning Jose Mourinho's team with the hopes of regular game time, Maitland-Niles has failed to impress the coaching staff enough to get many appearances.
According to Siamo La Roma, Maitland-Niles will head back to Arsenal when his loan expires at the end of this season as he has 'not met expectations' at Stadio Olimpico this season.
Then he will have to decide on his future, as he is not a major part of their manager Mikel Arteta's short or long-term plans.
