Mainz defender Moussa Niakhate faces a wait over where he will be playing next season.
The 26 year-old is interesting West Ham United, Everton and Newcastle United, while Niakhate has already turned down an approach from VfL Wolfsburg.
Mainz chief Christian Heidel says Niakhate could be sold, but they won't be rushed.
He explained: "The market won't really get going for a few weeks at the earliest. The English, who dominate everything, are going on holiday for now.
"Those interested will contact Moussa's consulting agency. We come into play when the interest becomes more concrete. Then we will express our ideas."
