Manchester United captain Harry Maguire missed Tuesday's vital training session ahead of the Europa League final.

Maguire has been sidelined after injuring his ankle ligaments.

Speaking before the training session, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer emitted an air of confidence about his star defender's return.

"Harry is just going to jog up and down the sideline, I reckon," the United boss said in his pre-match press conference.

"He'll probably try to join in (training) a little, but apart from that we're looking quite good."

But sharp eyed observers in Poland quickly saw that Maguire would not participate in the final session before Wednesday's meeting with Villarreal.
