Harry Maguire has refuted claims that Leicester City players were upset at having to take a coach to their game against Bournemouth.

A report from Sky Sports revealed the players were upset at having to experience a five-hour coach journey, instead of flying.

But Maguire issued a tweet indicating that it was not true.

Some fans felt as though the players were using an excuse for the 4-2 defeat in the game.

Maguire sent out a tweet saying it was “false information" but then deleted the message.

He did leave a tweet with a “thinking face" emoji to express his displeasure at the story.
