Napoli midfielder Christian Maggio says they're ready for Europa League opponents Elfsborg.

Maggio also hopes the fans will show their passion at the San Paolo for the opening game of the season.

"I really hope the stadium will be sold out and if I score I will celebrate under each curva," the wing-back told SkySport24.

"In comparison to last year, I hope we will be able to start without hiccups. Europa League is a competition to which we want to take part and that is why we have trained hard in recent weeks."
