Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid insists the change of manager at Fulham will not force Clint Dempsey to return early from his loan spell.
The 30-year old USA international returned to the Cottagers in early January on a two-month loan when Rene Meulensteen was in charge.
On Friday, the southwest London club replaced Meulensteen with German tactician Felix Magath but Schmid say that won't have any impact on Dempsey's stay.
"No, it doesn't affect it at all," Schmid said.
"You don't know how Felix Magath is going to approach it in his period of time right now with the team. It's what was agreed to, so you sort of let it sit unless there is something that comes to the forefront that should change it."
Dempsey has made six appearances, starting five times for Fulham, in his second spell at Craven Cottage.
