Former Holland midfielder Hedwiges Maduro believes Davy Klaassen should quit Everton for Spain.

Now playing for Omonia Nicosia, Maduro had time in the LaLiga with Valencia and Sevilla.

Asked about Klaassen's problems in England, Maduro said: "If you look at the philosophy, Spain is very similar to the Netherlands. They all want to play football. The level is higher, but it's about the idea.

"Klaassen could bring a lot more in Spain than in England.

"You hardly see any Dutch players in Spain anymore. Why is that? I think because of the money. In England you just earn a lot more than in Spain."
