Hedwiges Maduro is delighted with his whirlwind move to Valencia.

The Ajax midfielder was snapped up yesterday in a £1.5 million deal by Valencia coach Ronald Koeman.

"I know Valencia through Koeman, who is a great coach," said Maduro, who underwent a medical yesterday and is expected to be presented to the local media today.
