Leicester City youngster James Maddison has admitted that he is excited at playing with Youri Tielemans.

The 21-year-old Belgian star joined on loan from Monaco, with Adrien Silva going in the opposite direction.

And despite his young age, he has a ton of experience at club and international level.

"It is brilliant," said Maddison to reporters about Tielemans signing in the winter.

"We want as much quality in the club as possible. That only is a positive thing for me and all of the other players.

"When you see quality coming in, whether it is in your position or not, you want the team to do as well as we can, and at the end of the season we want to be in the highest possible position we can be and if signing players like that is going to help then I am all for it.

"We all know the quality he has and his record speaks for itself. He is 21 but he has played a hell of a lot of games.

"He is a real talent so I am looking forward to playing with him."
