Peterborough striker Craig Mackail-Smith appears to have rejected the chance to join one unnamed Premier League club. The in-demand 27-year-old is poised to leave London Road this summer with the likes of Everton, QPR and Norwich all reportedly showing interest.
But director of football Barry Fry has told Peterborough's Evening Telegraph: "One Premier League club who have spoken to Craig set him a deadline of today (Wednesday) to make his mind up, but he will not be going there.
"It's not a question of money, it's a couple of other things that he's not happy about. Craig is right not to rush into anything because there is still plenty of interest in him."
