Macari says top four not enough for Man Utd

Former Manchester United captain Lou Macari says they should be shooting for higher than the top four.

The Scot expects big things under new manager Louis van Gaal.

"I'm not interested in the top four, this is Manchester United, we have to be talking about the title. It's as simple as that," Macari told talkSPORT.

"When David Moyes first came in I thought he would do it, but things when wrong and we saw what happened last season, it was one of United's worst seasons for a long, long time.

"Louis van Gaal is coming now and the word is he's going to get the squad organised, disciplined and back to playing the Manchester United way.

"I hope that's the case, but it's difficult to know how it's going to work until you see a few games."
