Man City expecting Arsenal target Gabriel Jesus to make transfer request

Manchester City are waiting for Gabriel Jesus to decide on his future.

The Brazil international is likely to leave the club this summer in search of regular first team football.

Jesus has featured more for City in recent weeks, but knows the summer arrival of Erling Haaland will make a starting spot nearly impossible for him to secure.

According to ESPN, City are expecting a transfer request from Jesus, and will not stand in his way if he wants to move.

A transfer to Arsenal appears the most likely, with his agent confirming that talks have taken place with the London club.

Marcelo Pettinati said recently: "We had discussions with Arsenal about Gabriel Jesus and yes, we like the project.

"It's a serious possibility so we're discussing.

"There are six more clubs interested in Gabriel Jesus, he's now focused on final games with Manchester City, then we'll see what happens."
