Lyon are aiming to heap more misery on Champions League rivals Liverpool.

Lyon hope to capitalise on Liverpool's crisis with striker Bafetimbi Gomis vowing to make them "choke on the taste of defeat" again.

Gomis, 24, said: "Liverpool will come with the firm intention of winning after we beat them at Anfield. That was a result which will have stuck in their throats."

Lyon are not having everything their own way, though, captain Sidney Govou being fined and stripped of the armband after being photographed drunk last week.
