Lyon push welcomed by Arsenal captain Koscielny

Lyon are moving for Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny.

Frenchman Koscielny is one of Arsenal's longest-serving players, having been at the club since 2010.

Foot Mercato says he is excited by the idea of returning to Ligue 1. It is claimed that Lyon have begun talks with Koscielny over a two-year contract. His current deal runs to 2020.

The 33-year-old is also wanted by Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Arsenal could be tempted to part with Koscielny, providing they are able to source a suitable replacement.
