Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has sung the praises of Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri.

Juve are in Lyon next week for the first-leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

"I will put Sarri at the same level of Guardiola and Klopp, of the best," said Aulas. “In Chelsea, in a very complicated context, he did a great job.

“But I have admired Sarri since his Empoli days, before he went to Napoli. I tried to bring him to Lyon. I didn't speak to him directly, but with an agent.

“At Juventus, he can win the Champions League and it would be incredible, since he started with the amateurs."
