Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas says he's happy with the approach of Memphis Depay this season.

Off contract in June, Depay is a target for Barcelona.

“I have nothing to criticise him for," said Aulas “I will respect his decision. If he goes to a bigger club than Lyon, he'll be right.

“If he stays this will mean that we've been a great adventure for him and we have won something."

Barca coach Ronald Koeman is a big Depay fan and wants him at the club ahead of Sergio Aguero.

“He's being a good captain," added Aulas. “He speaks a lot to the other players in the squad. In recent years we've helped Memphis have the best platform possible for him to get to and improve his level from the 2014 World Cup, where he broke out."
