Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has denied claims he blocked Tanguy Ndombele from joining Barcelona last summer.

Now with Tottenham, Ndombele is being linked with Barca 12 months on after reports claimed Aulas stopped the midfielder joining the Catalans.

But the OL president took to social media to deny the claims in the Spanish press.

He said, "False and stupid, I quickly deny this kind of nonsense that does not honour you.

"There is so much more important things and more serious at the moment."
