Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas remains unsure if they'll secure Nabil Fekir to a new deal.

The midfielder has been linked with Chelsea as his contract runs to 2020. And the situation has been complicated as Fekir seeks to break away from his agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes.

Aulas told L'Equipe: "We did everything to show him that if he decided to stay, he had a separate status here.

"He must settle his contractual relations with his agent and the club has the intelligence to adapt so not to put him in trouble.

"But when the time comes, if we can make him change his mind, we will be delighted and we will do the right thing."
