Ligue 1 side Lyon are planning a swoop for Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy, according to reports from France Football.

Debuchy made a move to Bordeaux on loan from Arsenal during the January transfer window after failing to dislodge Hector Bellerin as the first choice right-back and it is believed that the 30-year-old will leave the Emirates Stadium permanently this summer.

Now according to reports, it has emerged that Lyon are interested in securing the services of Debuchy and are currently plotting a cut-price £5million swoop for the former Newcastle United star.
