Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has visited Tottenham's Enfield training ground ahead of a club-record move.
Details are still being finalised but Spurs expected to complete a deal which could be worth more than £60million for the France international in the coming days, says the London Evening Standard.
Ndombele is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year-deal which will see him become one of the club's highest-paid players, a considerable increase on his current wage, thought to be between £50,000-£60,000-a-week.
He impressed in the Champions League as Lyon took four points off Manchester City in the group stage and held Barcelona to a draw in the last-16 first leg.
